Official Claim Against Adventism

To the Leaders and Members of the Worldwide Seventh Day Adventist Church: I present a solemn claim grounded in scripture, questioning the very foundation of your teachings. Read on, and weigh this claim against the Word of God.

The Claim:

THE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH ERRONEOUSLY GOES "BEYOND WHAT IS WRITTEN," CULMINATING IN A PROCLAMATION OF A FALSE GOSPEL AND A FALSE JESUS.
BECAUSE OF THIS…
THERE IS NOT A SINGLE OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED MEMBER OF THE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH ANYWHERE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD THAT CAN GET ON A PUBLIC STAGE WITH ME TO DISCUSS THE TRUE GOSPEL OF GOD’S GRACE.
NOT ONE.

Biblical Foundation of the Claim: The SIGN OF DESTRUCTION

A distinctive marker is given to individuals who, due to their divergence from the true path of the Gospel, display cowardice or an unwillingness to defend and contend for the faith. This unmistakable marker is the "SIGN OF DESTRUCTION." Far from being a mere label, this sign serves as both a warning and a distinction between the truly faithful and those who, out of fear or other motives, refrain from standing for the Gospel. Here is the scriptural evidence underscoring this claim:

Philippians  1:27-28
Just one thing: As citizens of heaven, live your life worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or am absent, I will hear about you that you are standing firm in one spirit, in one accord, contending together for the faith of the gospel, not being frightened in any way by your opponents. This is a SIGN OF DESTRUCTION for them, but of your salvation-and this is from God.

Do You Bear the "SIGN OF DESTRUCTION"?

Adventists, it's time to reflect and respond:

Do you carry the mark of those too fearful to contend for the Gospel, as warned about in Philippians 1:27-28?

Your actions will provide the answer. Here are your clear options:

  1. Rise in Defense: Stand up and defend the Gospel you proclaim.
  2. Display Cowardice: Offer excuses or deflections, revealing the very sign of destruction you might bear.
  3. Avoid the Claim: Evade this Biblically anchored claim, be it by blocking communication or dismissing this claim.

The Biblical Imperative: Resist or Flee?

Seventh Day Adventist Church, while I challenge your understanding of the Gospel, I also implore you to reflect upon another fundamental Biblical principle. The Word of God provides insight into the actions of those who are aligned with the truth and those who are not:

James 4:7
Resist the devil, and he will FLEE from you.

In this pivotal moment, will you resist the pull of deception and stand firm in genuine faith? Or will you choose to flee, further solidifying the very concerns I've raised? The Word of God and the watching world await your response.

In Continuation of Biblical Foundations

Earlier, we underscored the significant "SIGN OF DESTRUCTION." Now, as we proceed, we present additional scriptural passages that further buttress this crucial message. These verses emphasize the danger of arrogance, the importance of adhering strictly to what's written, and the inherent risks associated with deviating from the true Gospel. It is not just about addressing erroneous teachings, but also about understanding the deep-rooted consequences of doing so. Let's dive deeper into God's Word and explore these profound truths.

On Going Beyond What is Written

1st Corinthians 4:6-7, 14, 18-21
Now, brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying: "Nothing beyond what is written." The purpose is that none of you will be arrogant, favoring one person over another. For who makes you so superior? What do you have that you didn't receive? If, in fact, you did receive it, why do you boast as if you hadn't received it? I'm not writing this to shame you, but to warn you as my dear children. Now some are arrogant, as though I were not coming to you. But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I will find out not the talk, but the power of those who are arrogant. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. What do you want? Should I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?

Proverbs 30:6
Don't add to his words, or he will rebuke you, and you will be proved a liar.

Confronting False Teachings

Titus 1:10-11, 13-14
For there are many rebellious people, full of empty talk and deception, especially those from the circumcision party. It is necessary to silence them; they are ruining entire households by teaching what they shouldn't in order to get money dishonestly. This testimony is true. For this reason, rebuke them sharply.

The Necessity of Sticking to Truth

2nd Timothy 4:2-4
Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and teaching. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will multiply teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear what they want to hear. They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths.

The Grave Risk of Abandoning the True Gospel

Galatians 1:6-9
I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from him who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- not that there is another gospel, but there are some who are troubling you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, a curse be on him! As we have said before, I now say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, a curse be on him!

The Essence of Disciplining with Love

Proverbs 13:24
The one who will not use the rod hates his son, but the one who loves him disciplines him diligently.

Hebrews 12:5-11
And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: My son, do not take the Lord's discipline lightly or lose heart when you are reproved by him, for the Lord disciplines the one he loves and punishes every son he receives. Endure suffering as discipline: God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline? But if you are without discipline-which all receive -then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Furthermore, we had human fathers discipline us, and we respected them. Shouldn't we submit even more to the Father of spirits and live? For they disciplined us for a short time based on what seemed good to them, but he does it for our benefit, so that we can share his holiness. No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

The Value of Transparent Correction

Proverbs 27:5
Better an open reprimand than concealed love.

Upon reflection of these scriptures, I beseech you to take a moment of introspection: Will you face these biblical truths head-on? Or will you manifest the prophetic SIGN OF DESTRUCTION, evident in those who lack the bravery to stand by their convictions?

Even with vast resources and cutting-edge technology, the brightest minds of Adventism cannot overshadow the luminous truth of the True Gospel of God's Grace.

Proverbs 28:1
The wicked flee when no one is pursuing them, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

A Final Appeal to the Seventh Day Adventist Church

Will you, the Seventh Day Adventist Church, muster the courage to confront this claim, deeply rooted in the scriptures you profess to uphold? The scriptures distinctly highlight the fate of those who waver in fear. The decision, and its ensuing eternal consequences, rest firmly with you.

Your False Prophet's Command

“No line of truth that has made the Seventh-day Adventist people what they are is to be weakened. We have the old landmarks of truth, experience, and duty, and we are to stand firmly in defense of our principles, in full view of the world.”—Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 6, pg. 17 (6t 17.1)

A Clear Biblical Command

1 Peter 3:14-16
But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. AND DO NOT FEAR THEIR FEAR, AND DO NOT BE TROUBLED, [15] but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and fear, [16] having a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who disparage your good conduct in Christ will be put to shame.

A Pledge to Honest Dialogue and the Truth

Our exploration of eternal truth extends beyond academics; it profoundly shapes our spiritual grasp of the Gospel. Understanding the gravity of this undertaking, it is vital that our discussions continue to uphold the values of authenticity, clarity, and a steadfast commitment to seeking the truth.

Nonetheless, we must be aware of common pitfalls that can sidetrack discussions like these:

Avoiding Personal Attacks: Let's refrain from engaging in personal attacks, as they do not contribute to addressing the central arguments.

Relying on Evidence: We should base our discussions on solid biblical evidence.

Staying on Topic: Maintaining focus on the core issues presented as they are is essential to ensure that we make meaningful progress.

Avoiding Misrepresentations: Mischaracterizing each other's positions only hinders our sincere pursuit of understanding the truth.

I strongly encourage the Seventh Day Adventist Church to approach this claim with humility and a deep love for the truth. Let us prioritize alignment with God's Word, recognizing the profound implications that extend into eternity. As we seek truth, may we be guided by the highest standards of integrity and sincerity.

In Conclusion:

The urgency and seriousness of this claim stem from a genuine and deep-seated concern for the souls influenced by the teachings of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. We are moved by a profound conviction that erroneous teachings have eternal consequences, and thus, our approach cannot be casual or lukewarm. Yet, it is important to emphasize that this claim is not presented out of spite or malice. Our intent is shaped by a genuine love for Adventism and its members, desiring to see all come to the fullness of truth of the Gospel of God’s Grace. May our dedication to the Scriptures and the truth they hold be the guiding light in this conversation, leading us ever closer to God's heart and His salvific plan for all.

One Simple Question

Will you publicly defend the Gospel of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in light of the Bible, or will you avoid this challenge, displaying the "Sign of Destruction"?
